The day of broken hearts and lenses.

That's right, world, today is the day of darkness and despair. HIGH SCHOOL PICTURE DAY. *insert thunderclap* DUN DUN DUNNNNNN! (Imagine me screaming above the tempest now)
Today is a day that all men fear. The hallways are a sea of hairspray and combs, concealers and gels, crying girls and screaming guidos!!!!! THIS DAY IS A DAY THAT WILL BE REMEMBERED FOREVER. ETERNITY WILL KNOW YOU BY THIS ONE PIVOTAL PHOTOGRAPH. IT WILL BE IN THE  FREAKING YEARBOOK! AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*ahem*  What was I saying?
Oh yes, picture day. My freshman photo outfit was bland and crappy, so this year I went with:
I hope I don't look like a serial killer in my real photo like I did last year... agh. I promise I'll post it asap.
What I wish my yearbook photo would look like:

Pep rallies are weird...

Today, my school's fall sports season officially kicks off. Yay. No one cares about the music department, the part of the school that gets us funding, of course, but the sports are put up on a pedestal :P
So i just took creepy photos of the band:

Tim is the furthest right tuba, wearing the sunglasses.
And I promised you some lovely follow-up shots of Mariel:

Oh and here are some photos of me being a student:

Yes, that's right, my backpack IS a turtle shell.
And then we got on our respective buses and went home:

THE END :D

Fedora-ble! :)

I love Jewish people. Thank you so so so so so much for having your New Year on the third day of the school year. I can do some laundry, get my binders and pencils and such, and stare at my stepmom until she goes into friggin labor! There is still no baby in my house, and it's become quite annoying. She's planning on walking a lot today and using basically every labor-inducing method known to (wo)man. Maybe tomorrow I'll have a little bro/sis to show you.

The weather is overcast and icky today, so these pictures are really crappy. Editing them was a nightmare. I spent more time on my makeup, so my face shots are a bit better:

Ish.
I picked out the skirt, then picked the accessories according to the colors in the skirt. My mom is taking me school shopping today, and she likes when I do that. Hi Mom!
Jewelsh:

I am such a beast at necklace photos at this point :)

Chain: Mom
Ring on chain: Grandma Sophie

SPOILERS AHEAD:
Dude I can't wait to show you what I have picked out for tomorrow and Monday. Tomorrow is picture day and a pep rally, what a weird combination. I have to look adorable, photogenic, and school spirit-y, and dress warmly in case of cold bleachers. The world puts a lot of stress on my wardrobe choices.
Monday is a different story. I got these fresh leggings from Kohl's and I'm so pumped to wear them under some fabulously 90's shorts, with ridiculous accessories and some Gaga-meets-Karen O hair and makeup. Prepare for epic.

So yeah, that's it for today. Everyone check out my lovely friend Rachel and her incredible photography at A Thousand Words. It's... woah. :)
Auf weidersehen till mañana :D

Sophomore means "Wise fool".

Today was my first day of tenth grade. What. A. Party. I like all but one of my teachers, I have friends and/or future friends in all of my classes, and CHOIR. I love my choir class. I might as well give you my schedule: Broadway, Spanish III Honors, Algebra II, English II Honors, US History I, Biology Honors, Gym, Classic Sounds Honors(Choir), Band. LOOOOVE.

A labor of love

My little baby sister/brother is a day late. He/she is undoubtedly related to me now. Hopefully it'll be born today, on LABOR day. Get it????? *ba dum ch*
My outfit today is inspired by comfort, how flipping cold i am, and my relatives giving me nice bargain clothes :D

The lighting is always so epic in that spot.
I opted for comfort today because I thought I was going to be spending it waiting in a hospital for my little sister or brother, but no such luck. I have a feeling I'm gonna get a call halfway through my first day of school telling me it's coming but to sit tight and attempt to pay attention :P Yeeeah.

THAT NECKLACE HAS A GRAIN OF RICE IN IT WITH MY NAME ON IT. HOW!?!?!? SO COOOOOOL. *ahem*
I decided to style the blue shirt because my stepgrandma, who is here waiting to become a real grandma, bought it for me on überclearance :D
Sorry about this being a day late, the house was chaos yesterday.
