Unisexy TWO-sday!

 Yep. We did it again.

No matter which way you look at this photo, gravity doesn't exist.

 Being ridiculous as usual.
Matt hasn't grasped the concept of photography quite yet, but maybe someday he'll get it.

Was YOUR day unisexy?

Style safari!

I actually wore this on Thursday, but you know life...

I put this ensemble together to showcase the belt and longer necklace; Matt got them for me for my birthday  ^_^

Headscarf, button-down: Mom
Tank: Gap
"Jeggings": Mandee
Long necklace, belt: Matt
Elephant necklace: Aunt Shelly

In a delirious haze during 7 hours of choir practice, I made the elephant go on adventures on my fellow singers' torsos and I also made the corresponding tiny elephant trumpeting sounds. Jovial.
I love that scarf so much. There are 673,482,910 uses for it.

Collar = almost popped.

>_>

<_<

>_<

So on Monday I'm driving into the city with some friends and going thrifting in SoHo.
I have a lot of birthday cash to spend.
Prepare for awesome.

See y'all later!

It's Unisexy Tuesday!

I don't even know how we came up with this, but last week at play practice, Matt and I came up with a marvelous idea. We're both huge fans of American Apparel and their unisex line, and we realized we could easily wear each other's clothes and pass them off as our own.

So, this morning, I donned this outfit:

                         And Matt wore this:

At 10:45 am, we both asked our 5th period teachers to go to the bathroom. We rendezvoused in one of the upstairs science hallways and traded shirts and bowties, and Matt gave me his sweater.

The result:

Cologne-infused sweaters smell soooooooo gooood :D

This shirt belonged to my Pap when he was younger.

BEST DAY EVER!!!!
My entire history class was so confused when I came back wearing entirely different clothes. I had to take about six minutes to explain it.

I still smell like Axe cologne and I've been wearing my original clothes for over an hour.

We're hoping to make this a regular thing and get more kids involved. So, even if you don't go to our school, find a partner and get unisexy! It's fun!

See you later!

Day-Late Valentine!

Being single on Valentine's Day is way more fun than most people think it is.
I handed out valentines and candy and jingled bells at everyone all day and it was AWESOME!
I loved having an excuse to wear that many hearts.

I made all the photos a little bit pink-tinted to be festive :D

Shirt: Gap
Tights/Skirt: H&M
Headband/silver bracelet: no idea.
Brooch: Antique via Gram
Scarf: the magnificent Tony! (HI TONY!)
Bracelet 2: Megann!

Is that chambray?

It's impossible to be in a bad mood and wear a bowtie at the same time.
The crimson lipstick doesn't hurt, either :)
Today was such a good day :)

THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER THANK YOU MOMMY!

The first bracelet is about 70 years old... My Gigi (maternal maternal great-grandma) gave it to me for my birthday :)
The other bracelet I've had since I was six; this is probably the last time you'll see it like this because I got new charms for my birthday.
